Student Life at P.S. 83

At P.S. 83, students are at the heart of everything we do. Our school is a place where students feel safe, supported, and excited to learn each day. From leadership opportunities to school-wide celebrations, students grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

Kindness Week

Public School 83, in alignment with the NYC Department of Education, is committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. Public School 83 proudly reflects a rich diversity of cultures. Located in the heart of Spanish Harlem—also known as “El Barrio”—our school community celebrates this vibrant heritage every day.
