About City Year
Education built on equity and belonging
City Year is an education nonprofit dedicated to helping students and schools succeed. Many students lack access to the learning environments and resources they need to thrive — due to systemic inequities that disproportionately affect students of color and students growing up in low-income households.

At P.S. 83, our City Year team works in close partnership with teachers and administrators, providing whole-school support while focusing on the students who need the most attention and encouragement.
We're excited to officially begin our after-school program on Tuesday, October 14th as originally planned.
